Roller heat exchangers have met the requirements of TÜV SÜD for heat recovery systems since 2009.
EN 308 specifies the test procedure for heat exchangers to determine the performance criteria of air/air heat recovery systems that recover heat from heating systems in buildings.

Heat exchangers are one of the main components in refrigeration systems. They use tubes in which liquids and gases are transported under high pressure. Not only to ensure the safety of the equipment, but also that of people, testing for strength and leak tightness in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive is essential.
Every heat exchanger, whether as a stand-alone product or installed in an air cooler or air conditioning unit, undergoes a leak test in a water bath at Roller. This ensures the manufacturing quality and reliability of a product for our customers.
In addition, each heat exchanger is subject to a gas pressure test in accordance with its specified application limits. The test pressures being confirmed by the certificate provided here.

In order to achieve the reduction of CO2 emissions by at least 20 percent stipulated in the Kyoto Protocol, the European Union has defined minimum requirements for energy-relevant products with the introduction of the ErP Directive 2009/125/EC (Energy-related Products Directive), also known as the Ecodesign Directive. The aim of the ErP Directive is to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
All our products are designed for maximum efficiency and since 2011 our air coolers for commercial refrigeration have been equipped with energy-efficient EC fans as standard.
In addition, we rely on brand manufacturers such as ebm-papst and Ziehl-Abegg for our fans, who in turn ensure compliance with the latest eco-design standards.
Effective quality assurance is not only the result of final production controls, process compliance and the availability of certificates, it is much broader than that.
To ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality requirements, we have been using our own laboratory for many years. Here, the products are put through their paces by means of performance and functional tests under real application conditions.
